Examinations are carried out by our trained and experienced engineers using the latest technology to achieve accurate results. To aid compliance with regulation 8, the test points are distinctly marked, using labels detailing the individual test point number and the next test due date. All the necessary documentation and test results are presented in a report, to provide you with an easily manageable process for safe system compliance. Testing of the LEV systems should create little or no disruption to your process as the unit should be in normal operating conditions at the time of testing.

What the listed services involve
LEV testing
A thorough examination and test checks the condition of your extraction system and measures airflow to assess how it controls exposure. For most LEV, this is required at least every 14 months under regulation 9 of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002.
LEV installation
Installation involves fitting the extraction equipment and connecting it to the machines or work areas it serves. Commissioning checks its performance under working conditions and establishes measurements for comparison at later tests.
Ductwork
Ducts carry contaminated air from the capture point towards a collector or discharge point. Work on their layout, joints and condition affects airflow, access for cleaning and the build-up of material inside.
Dust extraction
Dust extraction captures particles near the machine or process that releases them and carries them to a collection unit. The material being handled and the position of the capture hood affect how well it works.
Fume extraction
